Mammogram Referrals

If you do not have a prescription or a physician to refer you, you may schedule an appointment with our on-site Nurse Practitioner. The Women's Imaging Center at Yorktown has an on-site Nurse Practitioner who will evaluate you and can refer you for a mammogram. Call (914) 242-7666 to schedule an appointment with the Nurse Practitioner.

Mammograms save lives. 3D mammograms provide more decisive screening results.
The American Cancer Society and The American College of Radiology recommend annual screening mammography for all women beginning at age 40.

This timely feedback gives you a chance to ask questions and get information and details directly from the Radiologist, avoiding unnecessary waiting and anxiety.
