At our women-only radiology facility we take a primary care approach to radiology. And we take a team approach to diagnosis and treatment. Our physical setting, our proximity to other specialists and our patient-centered approach is what differentiates us and makes the care at Northern Westchester Hospital’s Women’s Imaging Center so exceptional.

Or, you may request an appointment at The Breast Institute in Yorktown, where our on-site Nurse Practitioner Mary Greco, FNP, can evaluate you and refer you for scanning in the same visit.
Immediate Feedback
We understand that waiting for results is stressful. That’s why women have the opportunity to speak to the Radiologist immediately following their procedure. This timely feedback gives you a chance to ask questions and get information and details directly from the Radiologist, avoiding unnecessary waiting and anxiety.
Expertise
The Women’s Imaging Center at Northern Westchester Hospital has been acclaimed a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence by The American College of Radiology (ACR). We are proud to be the only hospital in Westchester with this designation.
All women’s radiology services are provided by certified staff members including two mammography specialists, an ultrasound technologist, and the Center’s Medical Director, Dr. Bonnie Litvack, a fellowship-trained radiologist who is one of the foremost experts in breast imaging.
Dr. Bonnie Litvack is Director of Women’s Imaging at Northern Westchester Hospital. She is Board Certified in Diagnostic Radiology, Fellowship trained in MRI, and has extensive experience in all aspects of women’s imaging services. Dr. Litvack takes a ’primary care’ approach with her patients, and seeks to reduce the anxiety that many women understandably experience during scans.
